Fall 2007 Field Trip!

Our goal is to offer a DIFFERENT KIND OF EXPERIENCE to children from what is currently available to them.  Our farm is not themed to Halloween.  We focus on the FALL SEASON, the HARVEST and FARM LIFE with a definite COUNTRY feel throughout.

Our "BARNYARD" built in 2004, was constructed specifically to be a "HANDS-ON" and EDUCATIONAL animal visiting area for CHILDREN.  Our hope is that the kids will have a great time experiencing something new as well as learn some COOL STUFF along the way!  Each child, as part of the school/group tour, receives a "MY FARM FUNBOOK" with interesting animal facts and fun farm GAMES to take home with them.

We are open to the public October 1st through the 31st.  TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY ARE RESERVED JUST FOR CHILDREN'S GROUPS.  We offer three tour times per day, each lasting about an hour and a half (depending on the size of the group).  We usually START IN THE BARNYARD, then walk to the pond to FEED THE FISH.  A trip through our GIANT SUNFLOWER MAZE is a must!  Then off to the pumpkin patch where the KIDS GET TO PICK OUT THEIR OWN PUMPKIN to take home with them.  Picnic tables are always available if you choose to have snack time at the farm!  The cost is $5.00 per child, and as always, there is NO CHARGE FOR TEACHERS OR PARENT HELPERS.  Younger siblings are welcome to come along too.  Give us a call for more information.  It's never to early to reserve your tour time!
